1. 연구 목적과 필요성
음악이 사회 모든 분야에서 차지하는 비중은 막대하고 그에 따른 사회ㆍ경제ㆍ문화적 파급효과 또한 다른 산업을 제치고 있으며 그 위상도 날로 강화되고 있다. 이는 음악의 효과에 대한 반증이기도 하다. 교회에서도 음악은 설교의 그늘에 가려 홀대받고 있는데
영성(Spirituality)이라는 말은 일반적으로 쓰일 때는 정신(spirit) 혹은(Geist)를 뜻하기 때문에 그 의미는 매우 광범위하게 적용된다. 또한 “물욕을 가진 것”, “세속적인 것”, “육체적인 것” 과 구별되는 것으로 “정신적인 것”, “높고 깨끗함”을 나타내는 용어이다. 즉 현실적이고 육체적인 것보다
